TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds‑RRT) for an immediate assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. The position starts 10/19/2026, lasts 14 weeks, and involves 36 hours per week on 12‑hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital staff to optimize patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (Peds‑RRT).
• Current NBRC‑RRT, BLS
