American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a NICU night shift position in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a 13‑week travel assignment starting November 9, 2026, with one opening available. The unit is NICU Respiratory Therapy with no adult patients. Assignment ID: P‑756176.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 3 × 12‑hour shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 36 per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on‑call requirements
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Travelers must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time‑off requests around major winter holiday periods

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin state license required (compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of previous NICU RT experience required
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Driver’s license or proof of permanent residency required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required for consideration
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration
• Copies of all active certifications required for consideration
• Candidates must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
