Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,373 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Sayre, Pennsylvania, starting 10/26/2026. The position is full‑time travel (40 hours per week, 10‑hour evening shifts).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required depending on assignment area.
• Ability to meet the physical demands (lifting, vision, mobility) described above.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
