Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,318 per week

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a 70-bed hospital in Portland, ME.

Responsibilities

• Respiratory Therapy unit with potential floating between NICU, pediatric, and adult units
• Details discussed during interview
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call required
• EMR: Cerner (Pyxis also in use)
• Holiday coverage expected

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Minimum 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in specialty
• Active compact or Maine (ME) state license required — license required if applicable
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Flu vaccination required for clearance
• SSN, Driver's License, and copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Two professional references within the past year required; at least one must be from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director (Charge RN acceptable; peer references not accepted)
• Must not have previously worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity
• Must reside 100+ miles south or southwest of the facility

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
