Location: Rapid City, South Dakota. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12 hours, days and nights. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by applying the clinical process: assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating care given.
• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
• 1–2 years minimum acute care experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle a multi-task environment
• Basic PC skills (Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment)

Pay

$2,092 – $2,265 per week. Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.

Schedule

13-week contract with possibility of extension. AM shifts available. 12-hour shifts, days and nights, 36 hours per week.
