About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 23, 2026, in Biddeford, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
- Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
- Administer treatments such as nebulization, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Maine.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Current CPR certification.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
