Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,200 per week
About the role
Respiratory Therapist Registered specializing in RT PEDS. This position provides respiratory care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings, caring primarily for adults with occasional pediatric and neonatal patients. The role requires ventilatory management skills, independent practice, and collaboration across the respiratory care department.
Responsibilities
- Provides inpatient respiratory care including ventilator management, arterial blood gas draws, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP), high-flow nasal cannula therapy, nebulizer treatments, metered-dose inhalers, and airway clearance therapies.
- Outpatient responsibilities include nocturnal pulse oximetry setup and blood gas testing.
- Emergency department coverage includes adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Department orientation is provided for two to three days.
Requirements
- Two years of respiratory therapy specialty experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred, with Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification acceptable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- PCOT certification
- Ability to manage ventilators, work independently, and assist with intubation
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric respiratory care experience
Schedule
Rotating schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours per week; regular coverage includes Monday and Tuesday day shifts with alternating Wednesday and Friday night shifts. Every other weekend is required, with holiday coverage based on department needs.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
