About the role
Average of 13 weeks duration, 36 hours per week, 12 hours shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with breathing difficulties related to conditions such as asthma, emphysema, chronic respiratory diseases, or emergency trauma.
- Perform diagnostic tests as part of the care team’s treatment plan.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of physiotherapy and cardiopulmonary disorders.
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
- Extensive knowledge of physiotherapy and cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of New York.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
