Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, with 12-hour shifts minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid respiratory therapy license
- Relevant certification in pediatric respiratory care
- A minimum of 0 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in pediatric respiratory therapy
- Familiarity with advanced ventilatory equipment
- Knowledge of pediatric-specific procedures
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients
- Perform invasive and non-invasive ventilatory procedures
- Conduct diagnostic tests such as chest x-rays, EKGs, and pulmonary function studies
- Assist with procedures like bronchoscopy and chest tube placements
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate with physicians regarding treatment efficacy
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
