Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,168 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The position is an allied health professional role requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, with an ASAP start date and a contract length of 12–13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in critical care units and floors.
• Operate GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non‑invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high‑flow oxygen devices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient respiratory needs.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings according to patient condition and physician orders.
• Adhere to unit policies and guidelines, including weekend and on‑call responsibilities.

Requirements

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Pay

Pay range: $1,812.12 – $1,902.73 (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week; shift hours 18:30 – 07:00 (night shift).
