Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatrics (PEDS) is required for a healthcare facility in Olympia, Washington. The position involves night shifts and is expected to support various adult and pediatric critical care procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour Night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT or CRT
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in adult critical care and pediatric respiratory procedures
• Float rotation may be required between units

Additional Information

• All RTO requests must be included with submittal, including mask fitting, Cheyne-Stokes respiration, periodic breathing, end-tidal carbon dioxide (CO2), and oxygen saturation assessments
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza vaccines are preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted, and weekend shifts (every other week) are required

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
