Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,040 per week

Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in Columbus, Ohio, provides comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients within the facility. The role includes evaluating patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with physicians to achieve optimal outcomes.

Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid respiratory therapist license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory care
• Able to work overnight shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric respiratory care experience
• Familiarity with pediatric airway management
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Responsibilities

• Operate various ventilatory equipment
• Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and monitor patient responses
• Assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and arterial punctures
• Accurate documentation of treatments
• Communication with physicians
• Adherence to all clinical policies and procedures
