Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $1,992 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is hiring Respiratory Therapists for contract assignments at partnering hospitals in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. This is a 13‑week travel contract with possibility of extension, starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
• 1–2 years minimum acute care experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — American Heart Association required
• Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle a multi‑task environment
• Basic PC skills (Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment)

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by applying the clinical process: assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating care
• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility
• Perform routine maintenance on respiratory equipment

Pay

$1,813 – $1,992 per week. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
