The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care and support to patients, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to enhance patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy and make adjustments as necessary. Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment usage. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans. Document patient care activities in electronic health records. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred. Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, NRP. Professional state license is required. Experience with Hamilton ventilators is preferred. Familiarity with EPIC software is preferred. Work Schedule This position may require a variety of shifts, including day and night rotations. Schedules will consist of a combination of 8 and 12-hour shifts with the potential for 40 hours per week, including every third weekend. Additional Requirements No on-call duty is required.
