Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in Jackson, Michigan. Start date: October 5, 2026. Duration: 14 weeks. Employment type: Travel. The role involves delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients under general supervision; performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures in Intensive Care and General Practice Units; maintaining clinical expertise across departmental assignments; effective communication and thorough documentation; supervising, directing, and delegating tasks to Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students.

Responsibilities
- Provide life-support and medical gases therapy
- Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures
- Supervise, direct, and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students
- Document patient care accurately
- Maintain clinical expertise across various hospital units
- Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other healthcare staff
Requirements
- Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program
- Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Michigan
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years recent Respiratory Therapist experience

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
