Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $1,916 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for an immediate opening in Cleveland, Ohio. The assignment is 13 weeks long, 32 hours per week on evening shifts, and is a travel position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function.
• Report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize the continuum of care for the patient being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.
