Travel assignment for a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a respiratory care unit in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 13-week assignment starting November 15, 2026. One opening. Employment type: Travel. Discipline: Allied Health Professional.

Schedule

• Night shift: 18:30–07:00 (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week (3 shifts per week)
• 13-week assignment length
• May require up to 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period based on department needs
• Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• NBRC credential (RRT)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Current state license (if applicable) with primary source verification completed within 30 days prior to assignment start

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies
• Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment type and frequency, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and respiratory equipment
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities
• Evaluate respiratory practice, medication administration, and treatment effectiveness based on patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about respiratory health conditions and connect them with community resources and support programs
• Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes as needed
