Job Summary

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) Washington, Missouri

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators
• Providing emergency care such as external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, or assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Maintaining patient charts with identification and therapy information

Requirements

• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic nursery experience

Additional Information

• Duties include respiratory care, emergency care, and intensive care experience
• Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation
• Experience with respiratory equipment
