About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you'll assist patients who are having trouble breathing due to conditions like asthma, emphysema, chronic respiratory disease, or emergency trauma. Respiratory Therapists perform diagnostic tests and collaborate with the care team to create a treatment plan.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with breathing difficulties from conditions such as asthma, emphysema, chronic respiratory disease, or emergency trauma
- Perform diagnostic tests to assess cardiopulmonary status
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of physiotherapy and cardiopulmonary disorders
Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
