Supplemental Health Care is hiring Respiratory Therapists for contract assignments at partnering hospitals in Cookeville, Tennessee. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks (with possibility of extension). Employment type: Travel. Hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (NOC shifts available).

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by applying the clinical process: assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating care given.
• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
• 1–2 years minimum acute care experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association required)
• Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Skills

• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle a multi-task environment
• Basic PC skills (Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment)

Pay

Weekly pay range: $1,588 – $1,751 (estimated, may include both
