Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by applying the clinical process: assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating care given.
- Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility.
- Perform routine maintenance on respiratory equipment.
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
- 1–2 years minimum acute care experience
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle a multi-task environment
- Basic PC skills (Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment)
Pay
$1,534 – $1,709 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation; tax-free stipend amount to be determined). 13-week contract with possibility of extension.
Schedule
12-hour day shifts (AM shifts available), 36 hours per week.
