Join our team as a Travel Respiratory Therapist at a leading acute-care hospital specializing in Rehabilitation. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about providing high-quality respiratory care in a supportive environment. Unit specifics

• Number of beds: 478
• Patient ratios: Assignments based on volume
• Staffing model: RTs assigned to units for patient care
• Equipment: PB980 vents, V60 NIV, Fisher & Paykel high flow
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling: Every other weekend, 12-hour shifts (6:45A–7P)
• Floating policy: Float to JW campus as needed
• Patient experience requirements: AIDET and Exemplify Core Values at all times

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside respiratory care including ventilator management (PB980, V60 NIV, high flow)
• Perform bedside bronchoscopy procedures
• Manage patient assignments based on unit volume
• Document care in Meditech
• Adhere to AIDET communication framework and hospital core values
• Float to JW campus as needed

Requirements

• BLS certification
• Virginia licensure to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
• RRT credential from NBRC
• Critical care experience

Pay

Weekly gross pay: $1,531 – $1,611 (based on 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week, subject to confirmation; tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
