Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg
Overview
Sentara Norfolk General 6K Medicine Unit is hiring for a Registered Nurse for a Temporary Traveler Position. This is a temporary full-time, 14-week assignment on day shift with a pay rate of $65.00/hr. No benefits are included with this position.
Department/Unit Overview
Join the nursing team that is enjoying a beautiful, brand new 24-bed Medicine unit with new computers in every room and charting stations in hallways with windows to visualize patients. Blood pressure machines that talk with EPIC as Real Time Documentation. Patient population includes cardiac, cardiac prep, renal failure, vascular, sepsis, pneumonia, sickle cell, OR-Prep, and diverse wound care.
Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
