Department/Unit Overview

• Provides an exciting, fast-paced environment.
• Department is 22 beds, 10 L&D/Triage rooms and 12 Post Partum Rooms.
• Dedicated nursery with 20 rooms.
• Care includes labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
• Ratios: 1:2 for L&D and 1:6 for Postpartum.
• Frequent daisy award winners.
• Magnet designated and seeking AWHONN designation.

Education and Certification/Licensure

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and NRP certification required.

Experience

Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN experience.
