Travel Registered Nurse, RN, Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed.
• Incorporate and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification/Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within your license, scope of knowledge, and experience in the practice area.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience in specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
• Required credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Pay

• Local pay: $65 per hour.
• Travel pay: $31.81–$35.63 per hour + tax-free allowance if qualified.
• Actual compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification, and comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.
