About the role
Cardiac catheterization is the insertion of a catheter into a chamber or vessel of the heart. It can be used to diagnose heart conditions or as treatment. Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses assist doctors performing these procedures. You can specialize further in coronary catheterization—procedures involving coronary arteries—performed in state-of-the-art labs. In this specialty, you’ll work with the latest technology in cardiac care.
Weekly pay stated in job postings is scaled based on estimated hourly wages and potential stipends for the assignment location. Hourly wages consider factors such as experience, demand, availability, and location.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of current work experience in a CATH LAB
- Kentucky State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one
Certifications
This position may require one or more of these certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
