Requirements

• BLS
• NRP
• ACLS
• PALS
• 2 years current PICU experience
• PICU and NICU experience
• Dr Browns Infant Driven Feeding Cert (pending approval)
• Epic experience
• Virginia license pending
• Adhere to UVA float policy

Responsibilities

• Float across various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, peds medsurg, peds PACU, peds ED, and postpartum/mother baby
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in a float pool setting
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and certifications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care
• Adhere to shift schedules and assignment guidelines

Pay

• Pay Range: 2216.52 - 2327.35
• Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
