Travel Registered Nurse - Pediatric ICU

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Cardiac PICU setting, focusing on pediatric patients with cardiac conditions.
• Utilize strong cardiac skills, including experience with VAD, Heart Mate 3, Berlin, and ECMO.
• Float within acuity-appropriate units as needed and participate in every other weekend shifts.
• Complete EMR documentation and adhere to safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in pediatric cardiac ICU or similar specialty within the last 3 years.
• Current New York State RN license and BLS certification.
• Ability to provide references from recent relevant assignments.
• Willingness to float across units and provide own scrubs (navy bottom with white top or all white).

Key Duties & Requirements

• Strong cardiac clinical skills and experience with advanced devices and support systems.
• Complete required onboarding including BLS and skills checklist.
• Flexible to accommodate local travel and comply with vaccination policies.
