Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments
- Maintain monitoring of vital signs and anesthesia recovery
- Administer medications
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document care accurately
- Respond to emergencies
- Develop discharge instructions
- Collaborate with surgical teams
- Operate PACU equipment
- Participate in handoff communications
Qualifications & Skills
- One year of recent PACU RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- PREFERRED: PALS/ENPC certifications
- Must possess critical thinking, effective communication, physical strength, motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to work under pressure
