Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe and effective environment for patient care.
  • Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patients.
  • Develops and implements individualized plans of care.
  • Evaluates and modifies patient care plans based on patient outcomes.
  • Participates in patient education and discharge planning.
  • Performs point-of-care testing procedures.

Requirements

  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
  • Current BLS via AHA Certification.
  • Current ACLS via AHA Certification.
  • Current PALS via AHA Certification.
  • Two or less years of experience as a Registered Nurse for CN I status.
  • Experience in surgical services preferred.
  • Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
  • Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights.
  • Communicates in a clear concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of patient.

Schedule

  • Shift: DAYS - 8:00AM- 6:30PM.
  • Start: ASAP.
  • Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends 12 hour shifts - call per month (Sat / Sun = 1 weekend).
  • On Call Requirement: One night call per week.
  • Floating Requirement / Locations: Other units within surgical services.

Schedule

  • Work Schedule: 4, 10-hour shifts.
  • Work Type: Full Time.
