Travel Registered Nurse OR Job

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative nursing care as the OR Circulator for orthopedic, endoscopy, and general surgery cases
• Maintain sterile technique, assist with instrument handling, and manage counts (sponge/needle) throughout procedures
• Monitor patient status, help with positioning, and collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia, and scrub staff to ensure patient safety
• Prepare and stage equipment, maintain an orderly OR environment, and document perioperative care and patient responses
• Participate in post-anesthesia handoff, discharge planning support, and ensure safe transfer of the patient to the recovery area

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado
• Strong orthopedic operating room experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work Monday–Friday days; typical 40-hour schedule; occasional call may be required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Ability to function effectively in a critical access hospital OR setting

Pay and Schedule

Weekly pay: $1,825–$1,931 per week

Guaranteed hours: 32

Contract duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday; typically 40 hours per week, with a very small chance of requiring call
