About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026 in Neptune, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to neonatal patients in a NICU setting.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure under stress.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform routine assessments and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a NICU RN preferred.
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a NICU RN preferred, but we are open to exceptional candidates with a strong passion.
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights.
