Travel Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Role & Responsibilities

Provide specialized care to critically ill and premature neonates in the NICU, including assessments, medication administration, and operating advanced equipment like ventilators and infusion pumps. Perform neonatal procedures, support families through education, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Requires at least one year of recent NICU experience
• A valid RN license
• CURRENT BLS and NRP certifications
• PREFERRED certifications include RNC-NIC and PALS
• Demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, physical stamina, technical proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential

Key Duties

• Maintain and monitor neonates, operate NICU equipment, assist with procedures, educate families, and ensure infection control
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize neonatal outcomes and follow all safety protocols
