Unit Details

• Heparin protocol (no titratable drips)
• Remote telemetry with monitor techs (RNs do not interpret strips)
• PCT ratio up to 1:12
• CPAP/BiPAP patients
• Self-scheduling based on staffing needs
• Schedule: Days 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, Nights 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, Weekend rotation: 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, Holiday rotation required
• May be placed on call if low census (45-minute response)
• Orientations: 1 day clinical education + 2 precepted unit shifts
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
