About the role
Cure Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a position in Utica, New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients recovering from surgery or acute illness.
- Assess and document patient progress and needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare provider.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Current New York license.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certification.
- Additional certifications related to step-down care.
- 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg.
Qualifications
Primary residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility address.
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
