Travel Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Key Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive patient care in a 31-bed unit, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Maintaining patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EMR.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support treatment plans and discharge procedures.
• Floating to other Medical Surgical floors as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure and current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification with all modules completed.
• At least 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Proficiency in total patient care responsibilities.
• Residency more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Experience with Cerner EMR.
• Background in Telemetry or step-down units.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
