Travel Registered Nurse Med/Surg Telemetry (Neuro) - $2,135 per week
About the role
The Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients primarily with neurological diagnoses, while also supporting a telemetry overflow unit. Candidates will be expected to utilize their skills and experience in neurology and telemetry nursing.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient progress
- Provide telemetry monitoring and neuro assessments
- Aid in managing a variety of neurological and medical conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and social services
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of neurology and medical/surgical telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Maryland or compact RN license required at the time of submission

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30). Every other weekend and holiday required.
