Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg - $1,144 per week

About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 12-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, at a 36-hour-per-week schedule in Forrest City, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs to maintain competency in clinical skills.

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (certifications vary by location – details will be provided).
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice.
• Valid driver's license.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg.
• Current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS).
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Background and drug screen.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
