About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Dubuque, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and monitor mother and baby health.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of postpartum care and newborn care.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with a start date of August 10, 2026.
