About the role
Provide specialized nursing care in labor and delivery settings, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsible for monitoring labor progress, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum care. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality maternal and neonatal services.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor laboring patients
- Assist with childbirth procedures
- Provide postpartum and newborn care
- Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
- Adhere to safety and health regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1 year recent full-time RN experience in Labor & Delivery
- Current state and/or national RN license
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
