Travel Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Role and Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for a group of patients, providing specialized nursing care.
• Document patient responses, monitor physiological data, and observe manifestations.
• Administer medications, initiate and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
• Absorb and assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Communicate care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions to patients and families; delegate tasks to support staff as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN License (state-issued or multistate compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification within 6 months.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, and evaluate nursing services; work independently after orientation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
• Experience in IR or procedural settings as part of a team.
