About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Joplin, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit setting
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Qualifications
- Experience in an Intensive Care Unit setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including 12-hour shifts, nights
