About the role
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality acute care to patients in a Level I Emergency Department. The nurse will care for patients admitted and awaiting bed availability, which may include working in designated areas or hallways. In cases where no patients are being boarded, the nurse may be assigned to acute care areas.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards in patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care / Medical Surgical Telemetry experience required.
- ACLS certification is mandatory.
- Tennessee RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission is required.
- Experience with Cerner charting system is necessary.
- Previous charge experience is a plus.

Schedule
Day shift, 3x12-hour (07:15 - 19:15), with every other weekend and some holiday shifts required.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
