Travel Registered Nurse Endoscopy Job

About the role

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in Endoscopy, starting on 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks in Templeton, California. The work setting is an acute care environment, with a 5x8 rotating shift. This assignment is through Healthforce Healthcare LLC, with weekly pay ranging from $2,674 to $2,757.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure assessment, patient preparation, and perioperative nursing care for endoscopy procedures, using Epic EMR for documentation
• Monitor vital signs, airway status, and sedation as assigned; respond to changes and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure
• Prepare and assist with endoscopic procedures; manage equipment, maintain sterile technique, and support quick room turnover
• Document procedures, medications, and post-procedure instructions in Epic; communicate concerns to the care team as needed
• Collaborate with gastroenterology and anesthesia teams to support care planning and discharge instructions
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions

Requirements

• Active California RN license in good standing
• Endoscopy or perioperative nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work 5x8 rotating shifts and participate in a travel assignment
• Nursing degree from an accredited program; BSN preferred

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,674 to $2,757. Please note that pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary, with final compensation packages and confirmed hours discussed during the hiring process.
