About the role
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Room/Trauma position in Juneau, AK.
Responsibilities
- Performing triage and assessments for patients of all ages
- Administering medications and therapeutic measures
- Documenting in EMR
- Cooking referrals
- Maintaining a safe environment
- Participating in department improvements and emergency responses
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license (Alaska or other states, with application in process)
- BLS certification
- At least 2 years of nursing experience with 1 year in urgent care
- Clinical competency assessments
Preferred Skills
- EMR experience
- Application of evidence-based practices
- Strong critical thinking skills in a fast-paced setting
