Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care to CCU and CVICU patients, including hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions
  • Manage ventilated patients, vasoactive drips, and rapid response to deteriorating conditions
  • Administer medications, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, and document care in the medical record
  • Collaborate with cath lab services and support post-procedure care in CVICU/CCU as needed
  • Float to Acute Care (Med/Surg) if required and participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives
  • Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensure adherence to evidence-based practices

Requirements

  • Colorado RN license in good standing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification (per submission requirements)
  • 3 years of RN Critical Care experience
  • Day 0 CVICU experience and proficiency with CCU/CVICU care
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and participate in call rotation
  • Willingness to float to Med/Surg if needed
