Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to CCU and CVICU patients, including hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions
- Manage ventilated patients, vasoactive drips, and rapid response to deteriorating conditions
- Administer medications, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, and document care in the medical record
- Collaborate with cath lab services and support post-procedure care in CVICU/CCU as needed
- Float to Acute Care (Med/Surg) if required and participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensure adherence to evidence-based practices
Requirements
- Colorado RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- PALS certification (per submission requirements)
- 3 years of RN Critical Care experience
- Day 0 CVICU experience and proficiency with CCU/CVICU care
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and participate in call rotation
- Willingness to float to Med/Surg if needed
