Responsibilities

• Provide direct RN care in the cath lab during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures for adult and pediatric patients; support right and left heart hemodynamics
• Maintain hemodynamics, administer moderate sedation under physician order, manage telemetry, and respond to arrhythmias and emergencies
• Absorb advanced procedures and devices (e.g., TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis) and support vascular interventions; participate in EP lab cases as needed
• Prepare, maintain, and calibrate equipment; position patients, obtain imaging support, and document procedures; oversee pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure recovery in the holding area
• Collaborate closely with CVT staff and EP team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction; adhere to infection control and safety standards

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in New York
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Moderate sedation training
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with right heart and left heart hemodynamics and structural/cardiac interventions (including TAVR, PCI, CTO, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever)
• Ability to work in an inpatient/outpatient cath lab setting and participate in 12-hour shifts
