Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care during cardiovascular surgeries
- Assist with surgical preparations
- Ensure sterile procedures
- Maintain patient safety
- Collaborate with surgical team
- Handle specimens
- Care for post-operative needs
- Respond to intraoperative emergencies
- Comply with safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Recent experience as a CVOR RN (minimum one year)
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in English and basic PC skills
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain focus, and collaborate effectively
