Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular ICU

About the Role

Provide high-acuity care to complex cardiac patients in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting. Manage post-operative cardiac surgery patients, operate advanced hemodynamic drips, ventilators, and invasive monitoring devices, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized cardiac care to CVICU patients
• Monitor and manage patients during and after invasive procedures
• Operate and manage advanced hemodynamic drips, ventilators, and invasive monitoring devices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols
• Maintain high-quality, accurate documentation throughout each shift

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Experience in CVICU or critical care nursing
• Ability to adapt quickly to new hospital environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
