Travel Registered Nurse

About the role

Seeking Travel RN to work the 6pm‑6am overnight shift in Taos, New Mexico. Work setting: long‑term care, travel nursing. Taos offers a rich cultural and recreational experience: visit the Taos Pueblo (multi‑storied adobe dwellings occupied for over a thousand years), the Rio Grande Bridge for breathtaking views and scenic hikes, Taos Valley Ski Lodge for top snowboarding/skiing, the Harwood Museum of Art (second oldest art museum in New Mexico showcasing Hispanic influence and the Taos Society of Artists), hot‑air balloon rides, natural hot springs at Manby and Black Rock, and the historic Taos Plaza with live music, shops, galleries, and great food.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or any other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Documents and notifies applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of New Mexico or compact.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Benefits

• $1,500 housing stipend.

Pay

$2,575 weekly ($50‑$55 per hour) plus the housing stipend.

Schedule

6pm‑6am overnight shift.
